What can you do with the Trimble® Yuma™?
The Tornado antenna can be mounted on a range pole, along with the GeoXH handheld or the ProXH receiver and field computer, to give you a convenient all-on-the pole solution. Click here for more information.
The Trimble® Tempest™ antenna is a high quality GPS antenna for GeoExplorer® series handhelds and GPS Pathfinder® Pro series receivers that is resistant to signal interference and multipath. Ideal for all mapping applications, it is especially useful in difficult environments such as under canopy and in urban canyons. The Tempest antenna can be mounted on a backpack or range pole to raise it above the body. This minimizes interference and the blocking of signals, resulting in a higher yield of positions and the best possible performance. Click here for more information.
The GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver brings Trimble H-Star technology to the field in real time; just connect to a real-time correction source and you can collect decimeter (10 cm) to subfoot (30 cm) positions, both horizontally and vertically, in the field. Simply use a wireless link to your local VRS™ network, or set up your own base station for the flexibility to work wherever you need to.
The ProXRT requires TerraSync Professional 3.20 or later, or GPScorrect extension for ArcPad 2.40 or later. Post processing can be done with Pathfinder Office 4.10 or later, or GPS Analyst 2.10 or later with all updates installed. Email Jim Lahm for more details at jim@elecdata.com
Real-time H-Star technology for decimeter to subfoot accuracy in the field. High-resolution VGA display for crisp and clear map viewing. Bluetooth and wireless LAN connectivity options. 1 GB onboard storage, 128 MB RAM plus SD slot for removable storage cards. Windows Mobile version 6 operating system. Rugged handheld with all-day battery.
Now available. Start with an 806 MHz processor, 128 MB of RAM, 8 GB of Flash storage, a long-life battery and integrated wireless capabilities like 802.11g, and Bluetooth, with 2-5 meter GPS built in. Then select an optional integrated laser bar code scanner and color digital camera. The Nomad also features a high-resolution, sunlight-visible VGA display that shows graphics and maps in crisp detail. And it's fully rugged and just as tough as our other handhelds which means the Nomad offers a lower Total Cost of Ownership than consumer-grade handhelds.
New GeoXH provides sub-foot (<30cm) accuracy with built-in antenna. Uses Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0 OS with 416MHz Intel PXA-270 X-Scale processor. Includes Bluetooth, wireless LAN technology (802.11b) and an SD (Secure Digital) memory slot for unlimited data storage. Note 11 buttons on this unit for greater control. Began shipping December 22, 2005. Also new, the Trimble 2005 Series GeoXT. Still with submeter accuracy, and with all the same features as described above. And, the Trimble 2005 Series GeoXM. Now, rated at 1-3 meter horizontal accuracy. Both began shipping December 22, 2005.
Important note: there is a field requirement and an office requirement that must be met in order to achieve <30cm (sub-foot), horizontal accuracy when using the GeoXH. You must be able to "see" the same constellation of satellites anywhere from 30-120 seconds, depending on conditions, with no interruption of signal. In the office, you must post-process the field data with one dual-frequency base station within 80 kilometers (50 miles) of your project site, or three dual-frequency base stations, all within 200 kilometers (124 miles) of your project site. Failure to meet either of these requirements will result in excellent submeter positions. Click here for more information about using H-Star technology.
ProXT replaces ProXR backpack model (now discontinued). Submeter horizontal accuracy. Contains receiver, antenna, battery, and Bluetooth technology to connect to Windows Pocket PC device to log GPS data. Can also connect simultaneously with GeoBeacon for real time corrections (below). Requires the addition of data collector, field data collection software and office software to comprise a complete system. Weighs only 1.2 lbs. Currently shipping.
ProXH receiver delivers sub-foot (<30cm) accuracy with less than 2 minute observation time. Once time is met, provides instantaneous and continuous sub-foot results. Add the dual-frequency Zephyr external antenna to achieve <20cm horizontal accuracy. Uses H-Star technology. Contains dual-frequency receiver, single-frequency antenna, battery and Bluetooth. Requires the addition of data collector, field data collection software and office software to comprise a complete system. Weighs only 1.2 lbs. Currently shipping. Important note: there is a field requirement and an office requirement that must be met in order to achieve <30cm (sub-foot), horizontal accuracy when using the ProXH.
